Nosebleed in the morning?

Hi! I'm 17 weeks pregnant and this morning I woke up, blew my nose and realised I was having a nose bleed... I've NEVER had one in my whole life, I'm 28...

I did only just get my first negative Covid test yesterday (we were testing as we have vulnerable parents) and I have had sore/stuffed sinuses due to Covid but I can breathe out of my nose now! Maybe due to the irritation?

Has anyone had this in second trimester? I see my midwife tomorrow so I'll mention it to her but thought I'd ask around on here! 🥰

Hi, I had this the other day, also in the morning. I'm 16 weeks, so not far behind you. I've read and heard that it's really common, just hormones and blood volume changes! Mention it if you're concerned, but it's not usually anything to worry about. 😊

Forgot to mention that yeah it could also be that you've had covid, the blood vessels in your nose can be more sensitive with that.

I've only had 4 nose bleeds in my whole 60+ yrs.
Once was when my brother accidentally hit me hard with a golf club aged about 10yrs and the other 3 were during my 3 pregnancies! One in each..
