Support belt

Can anyone recommend a good support belt? (not sure what the technical term for them is).

I'm 5 months pregnant with my 2nd, had to have an emergency C-section for my 1st, and the midwife mentioned that the last stages of pregnancy could strain the scar.

I thought using one of those bets could be useful, any tips?

My mother wore on during her 2nd pregnancy, she had lots of amniotic fluid and a huge belly- she found it a good support and relief.

I didn't ask the MW about it.

Hey - Im new but thought id butt in lol...

I got mine from Mothercare and its for during pregancy and has really helped with my backache and strain on my round ligament joints.

And it was a bargain at only £10...they might have it on their website but if not im sure they stock it all stores..

Hope this helps

I have a very large tubigrip (stretchy bandage) given to me by a physiotherapist, that might help with this problem. Am happy to send

alternatively you could ask to be given something similar yourself on NHS?

I am also after a pelvic support belt for pelvic pain symptoms so if anyone else has a spare one, please let me know

I am not sure if this type of belt would help the OP or not, I think she might need an all over belly support band type thing perhaps?
