Hello, I did a clear blue test around 2pm today. I was shocked because it had a strong blue line. Then i did two First Vue tests and some other brand throughtout the day but its very hard to tell if there is a line?

I dont know what to think?

Well i aint yet. My period is two days away. I had cramping and didnt feel right so somrone said get a pregnancy test. Because i never get cramps before hand. I had really sore breasts to but i have that before. Why is the Clear Blue test at 2 pm today so postive?

The earlier tests, no. The last one shows a cross, and from that alone, maybe yes. Have you got another to take in the morning - I think they used to say HCG (?)was most concentrated in the morning. It can go from nothing to everything it seems to me.

The Clear Blue looks positive, but it might be extremely early. You will only really know when your period arrives, or does not. You could speak with your GP and they could possibly use a stronger test, or a general checkup - Especially if you've had cramps. Don't forget that our bodies change over the years and so do our periods. My period can be the same for a good few months, or a couple of years...but as I get older, go through different stressors in life etc my period changes. Sometimes it just naturally changes. At the moment I am in sync with my eldest.

The Clear Blue looks like a positive. I would wait till tomorrow and test with first urine - not every test picks up a positive this early (Depends on how much HCG and how sensitive). First Response picks it up 6 days before missed period so maybe try that?

Sorry but I think the clear blue looks like an evap line, it's really thin. Was it checked within the time? Hopefully another with FMU tomorrow will provide a clearer answer.

sorry I agree with PP that the clear blue one looks like an evap line rather than a positive . This is because the line is thin - if positive it would be a thick line like the test line . I know from experience as this is what happened to me. As you are still not late though it may be too early to test and you could get your positive! Best of luck .

Thanks for your help. I did a clesrblue first thing this morning and was fully negative. My friend in work recommended i try another brand she has used. She got me 2 there. One is negative and the other has the faintest of lines that cant even be seen on a camera. So I am just going to stop testing now and see what happens. My cycle is tomorrow, so i guess i will know one way or the other in the next few days.

I think you are. The clear blue is strong, test again in the morning when it’s concentrated. I think the reason the red isn’t because you have tested throughout the day when watered down.

Otherwise use a digital they are more reliable.

I did a test this morning and was fully negative. The ones in the picture were yesterday.

That's not a strong positive, it's an evaporation line. It's very thin and there's no colour to it.

It's hard to tell as could be an evap line or could just be very early and some tests aren't as sensitive as others.
Wait to miss your period by a few days then test again
