Please don’t judge me, I need some help as I am really stressed out about this. So basically I’m pregnant with a due date of Feb 2nd from 12 week scan that dated me 11 weeks 4 days on July 18th. I also had a series of internal scans, may 28th(nothing seen) may 31st(small sac) June 7th (yolk sac but no fetalpole) 14th June (seen a fetal pole with heartbeat measuring 6weeks 3 days) I had sex with my ex on April 23rd or 24th and maybe couple times before these dates. I remember getting my period after this date(was bleeding on 27th but can’t remember how many days this was into my period) I then had sex with current partner 4th/9th/12th/15th or 16th of may. But only sure of ejec on 12th onward before this was pull out method with no protection. Can any direct me in the right place of when I conceived? As iv read so many things online that scans date from conception and it’s confusing. To also add my periods are quite regular. Thank you

40 weeks back from your due date of Feb 2nd is April 28th. That would be the approx date of your last period (which matches your dates). So conception would be 2 weeks later at around May 12th. X

I would suggest from dates the baby’s father would be your current partner.
if you feel you wouldn’t relax during pregnancy you can get a prenatal DNA test from 9weeks gestation. It is expensive around £850 and is 99% accurate. There is no risk to baby, it’s a blood test from mom and a cheek swab from potential father. The results are around 5 working days. If you didn’t want your current partner to ask questions perhaps you could get the swab from your ex.

I’m due Feb 5th and know I ovulated and therefore conceived around May 17th/18th if that’s any help so I would agree most likely your current partner

Start date of my last period was 3rd May, had a positive ovulation test 17th May and all my scans (had 3 so far) have dated me as due 5th Feb which is 2 days earlier than I actually dated myself! I definitely wasn’t pregnant before my last period as was on the pill still and it was actually a withdrawal bleed not a real period

Just to add @Sophie1541 for extra reassurance - I'm due 26th February 2025, so you're due 24 days before me. EDD confirmed by scan. We conceived around 7th/8th June. 24 days before that is around 14th/15th May xx

U can get a DNA test done if ur still worried. It does cost money but will give h peace of mind for sure and I believe it's a blood test from you - worth looking into x

Thank you very much for taking the time out to help me. I just needed some reassurance. I was told it would be nearly impossible to conceive after I had my other little one 6 years ago so I never thought it would happen so never really took the steps to track ovulation or anything. But thank you x

Simplest way is to count back 38 weeks from due date.

It's not exact as measurements can be a little out either way and soerm can live for several days between DTD and ovulation but it will be pretty close

I thought this but I had read some people say they date 40 weeks from conception so it threw me off as I had a period that ended around the 27th of April so it didn’t make much sense. Thank you x

Yeah it's definitely not 40 weeks from conception. The cycle starts the first day of your period when the egg is released which is approx 2 weeks before conception.
So technically the first 2 weeks of pregnancy, you're not actually pregnant at all but that's the start of 'life' for the egg that gets fertilised!
As some ladies have irregular cycles though or don't know their dates, it's not always that accurate going from the actual date of your period. That's why it's easier to go from your confirmed due date and count back the 38 weeks.

Yes exactly that. My dates are slightly off too as I have longer than average cycles.

Count back 38 weeks from your official due date given at the 12 weeks scan for approx conception date.

So is more likely to be person B please?

If your estimated due date is 26th May, it's looking more likely to be person B and conception would have been early September some time.
