I’m 6 weeks + 4 days and yesterday morning woke up to brown, stringy discharge in my underwear. Throughout the day this progressed to bright red blood, stringy with small dark red clots in (sorry if TMI).
After going round the houses with 111 they eventually told me to go to A&E, was seen at A&E yesterday (sat) and was told I needed a scan, they couldn’t do it that day but I would get a call first thing the following day (sun) first thing and be booked in for a scan on Sunday. Called and finally got through to someone in the midwife triage department and was told I had been given Incorrect information and that they early pregnancy unit aren’t open on a weekend and there is no one there to do a scan and that I would be contacted Monday to book in something for Mon or Tues.
I’m absolutely beside myself and feel sick with worry, I don’t know what to do and no one seems to be able to help or give me any advice other than I just need to wait for a scan.
Has anyone had anything like this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I know some bleeding can be normal in early pregnancy but I’m totally freaking out that I’m having a miscarriage and stressing about potentially having to wait until Tuesday to be seen. 😞
