Anyone have abnormal NT scan but positive outcome?

What the title says really, has anybody had an abnormal NT scan at 12 weeks and referred for extra testing but had a positive outcome?

I'm sure this fairly common. Happened to me and turned out when he was born that he just had a fat neck!

Not me, but my DD .

She was told her baby was high risk Downs from Nuchal Fold measurement .

She had loads of tests throughout the pregnancy including an amniocentesis at 36 weeks.

Amniocentesis rules out Downs but she was advised it could be other syndromes.

Her baby girl was born healthy and well on her due date natural labour and has no syndromes of any kind .

She was a big baby which more than likely accounted for higher than normal uncalled fold measurement.

Me! My daughter had a very high NT (6.8) measurement and we were advised at the initial scan to consider abortion. Further testing showed no abnormalities. She was born healthy and continues to be healthy in every way.

I went for a scan with my second pregnancy in the last year and was talking to the sonographer about it. She said she remembered reviewing my case and still uses it as an example of a positive outcome as it was so extreme.

Yes DC4 had a nuchal fold of 4.8 at 9 weeks and an amniocentesis at 11 gave the all clear. Later in my pregnancy, cysts were observed on her brain. These were also normal.

they’re now a teen, no issues.

Conversely I had a previous pregnancy with a normal nuchal fold and that DC had severe downs.
