Hi ladies so I had my consultant appt yesterday (second baby previous vb no complications) to confirm that I will need a c section as placenta still low lying and abutting my cervix, at the appointment the consultant basically said because of where the placenta is it is likely I will bleed a lot more and need a blood transfusion and worst case they may need to perform a hysterectomy to stop any bleeding, she also said they may need to put me to sleep entirely which I really don’t want- this has literally made my anxiety go mad, please can you tell me your stories of any similar births, good and bad I just want to prepare myself as much as possible - thanks so much 🙏💛🌼
