Itchy rash/red patches all over

I’m struggling to find others like this. I’m 12.5 weeks and yesterday I suddenly appeared with an itchy rash all over. I got seen by the doctor quickly and she ruled out chicken pox or anything contagious. She said it might be psoriasis but I appear to look a lot worse than online examples, I have never had this before, never had exzema. I do have hayfever. I now have steroid cream but I’m just struggling with the itchiness. This is my second pregnancy to go past 12 weeks and I didn’t have this with my DS. The doctor also said it typically happens later in pregnancy.

The other point is this suddenly happened an hour after taking my toddler swimming and then having a hot shower after. The doctor thinks chlorine might have triggered it. I take him weekly and never had this issue before. She said it’s not a heat rash, and I still have it now almost the next day.

I did notice two nights ago my thighs were starting to become itchy in bed, and my toe and heel had become itchy too, so it might have slowly been developing before swimming but it wasn’t noticeable.

I have odd tiny spots all over, but then larger red patches on my knees, thighs, elbows and upper arms. My face is clear but my ears are itchy. I have attached a few photos.

Has anyone had or seen this before?

That is what my whole body looked like when I started to develop adult onset allergies. I was not pregnant, but I was going swimming often.

@Ponderingwindow I have been taking my toddler for a year now. Plus more frequent on holidays. Maybe it’s a reaction that has built up from frequent exposure or a chlorine rash and it’s irrelevant that I’m pregnant in this case? Before a year ago I would only swim 1-2 times a year on holiday.

Did you stop swimming? Did it just eventually go away?
