I am on my 4th day of early labour at 41+4 weeks and the contractions started on 41+1 weeks. First day contractions were every 2 hours, second day died down in the day but ramped up to every 30 mins at night, third day dies down in day but every 20-15 mins at night. Last night it was around every 10 mins with lots of pelvic pressure. Midwife says baby's head is very low down. I am trying my best to stay positive. Looking for some positive stories of long early labour phase and how soon babies were born after that.
This is my first time Labouring and I am going for a VBAC with first birth being emcs.

Sounds like it’s going the right way. I had regular contractions with my second overnight that died down in the day sporadically from about 27 weeks but by 36 weeks it was every night, with a sprinkling in the day just to keep me on my toes. It was tiring and annoying and constant, and I spent most nights awake and completely unable to rest as I couldn’t sit still for weeks. I’ve no idea when that became early labour but once my body decided enough was enough baby was out in a few minutes so that was the pay off. And I got loads more sleep once baby had arrived than before so felt very well rested!

best of luck

@EyeOop thanks for responding and that sounds like a very long early labour. I can imagine why you'd feel better rested after the baby's here :D
