Hello - I've just moved back to London and am 28 + 5 weeks pregnant. Am living in Islington but work on Fleet Street and am trying to find a pre-natal yoga class close to either location. So far I've only found Yogabase on Liverpool Rd or the Active Birth Centre near Archway - but both only have classes starting around 6.15/6.30 on a week day and I won't be able to get out of work by then. Does anyone know of a good pre-natal yoga class either near Islington or Fleet St that either starts later during the week or runs at weekends? Thank you! L

I used to go to antenatal yoga in Stoke Newington - is that any good? It's not that far from Islington.

Not particularly handy for you but there is now a Triyoga centre in Soho which does ante natal yoga. It's in the Kingley St centre which is on the Regent St side of Soho.

Think most of their classes are lunchtime though.

Thanks - the Stoke Newington one sounds good, which centre were the classes at as google brings up a few? Thanks, L

LSB There's a place at Highbury corner that certainly used to do antenatal yoga in the evenings. Can't remember what it's called but you could google it.

If it's not too far to go for you, I would recommend yogahome in Stoke Newington

www.yogahome.com/

They do pre-natal yoga on Wed nights and Sun mornings followed by very nice tea and chat which is a good way to meet other pg women.

Yogahome - which I see someone else has also linked to.

If you can make it this far, Julie Tortora holds pregnancy yoga classes in Stroud Green, she used to do them at about 7.15 (this was a few years ago), and she is WONDERFUL

i cannot rave about Francoise Freedman enough- she is the most amazing, inspiring woman and her classes are simply wonderful, on a physical and emotional level. at the yoga therapy centre in pentonville road (between kings cross and angel), wednesday 6.30 for the really pregnant ones and 7.30 for early pregnancy. check out

enjoy!
