Mild OHSS in IVF

I am currently 10dpt5dt and have been testing positive since day 8dpt.
I’m now experiencing some symptoms of mild OHSS, I am due to be reviewed with my clinic today, does anyone have any experience with mild OHSS in early pregnancy?

Hi and congratulations!I assumed I had a very mild ohss, because I gained about 4-5kg (water in the abdomen, constipation and ovaries) during the 2ww, but it didn't develop any further and the doctor only said they can see the enlarged ovaries nothing else. Lucky for me it didn't worsen throughout the pregnancy, but I read it can go worse because of the hormones. I am 26 weeks now.

Yes, it started around day 6 post transfer, that's how I knew I was pregnant before testing (also 8dp5dt). Was very, very bloated and uncomfortable. Had enlarged ovaries and free fluid in the abdomen on scans. Got blood thinner injections and had to measure daily liquid input/output. It improved after 2 weeks and didn't affect the pregnancy, I'm 31 weeks now.

Hi :) yeah I am pretty much exactly the same as you.,. Was started on blood thinners yesterday, I am so uncomfortable with it! The evenings seem to be worse and I am not sleeping much overnight. Fingers crossed mine too clears up after 2 weeks, at the moment I feel like I havnt even celebrated or felt happy that I am pregnant because I just feel so rubbish :(

Ah, yes, it was the same for me, it was hard to feel the excitement at the beginning because of how miserable I felt but it didn't last that long. It's all a distant memory now, I'm so happy preparing for my baby to arrive.

Drink as much water as you can and get plenty of rest. Hope you get better soon!
