Transverse breech

Currently 30 weeks pregnant with baby no.2 and measuring small - recent midwife appointment said only measuring 26 weeks. Midwife thinks baby is lying transverse breech. Will be back at 32 weeks for another check and then be sent for growth scans if still measuring small.
With my first pregnancy my son was already head down at this stage and measured on or above the 50th centile so completely different experience for me.
Any experience on small babies/transverse babies?
Really nervous I will end up needing a c-section which just isn’t what I would like after a straightforward birth first time around.

TIA

I had a baby that was transverse until 34 weeks, I did lots of the spinning baby exercises. She turned when I spent the day walking around shopping, my mum was with me and I visibly changed shape!

She was also very small, she weighed 5lb at 40 weeks when born. The transverse lie had been making my bump measure weird though after she turned it was measuring a lot smaller. Are you going for a growth scan?

That’s reassuring your baby turned later on! I will look up the spinning babies exercises, thank you.

The midwife said if I am still measuring small at 32 weeks then they will do growth scans at 32 and 36 weeks. My first baby was just under 8lbs so I wasn’t expecting a small baby this time around! Were your growth scans accurate at predicting your small baby?
