Pregnant right before period was due?

Hi ladies, about 3 months ago after a year and half of TTC I fell pregnant, though we had sex only once that month, the day my period was due. However about 6 weeks after that I lost the pregnancy. I was just wondering if anybody had anything similar or if maybe when I fell pregnant being so close to when my period was due contributed to the early loss? Thanks

If you conceived near your period due date it likely means you ovulated late and your period was going to be 14 days late (or however many days your luteal phase is). It can happen on occasion.

I doubt this had any impact on your loss. I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a missed miscarriage in my first pregnancy and then went on to have my son. If you start ttc again hopefully you will have a successful pregnancy next time.

A lot of early losses are due to chromosome issues and just bad luck on that occasion with the egg or sperm. Our bodies or the process realises early on and it stops progressing.
