Am a bit confused about my dates! Can anyone shed some light?

Conception either occoured day 10, 14 or past 21 as these are the days we had sex.

We definatly didn't do aything between 14 and 21 as we were on holiday with my parents.

Now Im pretty sure I ovulated late and got pregnant from the CD21 time.

I think this because when I was doing pregnancy test from the 14th date i waas getting negatives at 19DPO,.

but once it got 13 days past the day 21 BD I got a + .

Right ...

but if I feed all this into an online due date calculator it tells me I concieved around the 3rd or 4th april, but I was away then!!

Do you think I couldve gotten pregnant from the CD14 time but only because i OVd a few days late and the sperm was still around?

And if I cant tell until the 12 week scan would you just say your dates from the 14th?

When you tell the midwife ect?

So Id class my self as almost 6 weeks from the 14th day

or 5 weeks from the 21st day?

TBH, the midwife will ignore conception date and just go from the start of your last period, and then come the dating scan you'll get a different date again, and sometimes a different one again at 20 weeks!

I would go from your last period date, at least then you will be on target with what the M/W thinks, and until you know otherwise, every date will be the same IYKWIM?

I had two due dates for both of my DS's, my dates, and the hospital dates, watching both due dates come and go and still being pregnant, wasn't much fun!!

LOL Just be prepared for a different date at the scan/s

I know I definitely ovulated around CD22 and it took until CD38 to get a BFP - so I have lied to the MW about the first day of my last period (I have made it a week later than it actually was). Turns out I ovulated late when I conceived DS but I was a bit more naive then and had no idea about these things - when we went for what should have been the 12-week scan, it turned out I was only about 10 weeks and he had no arms or legs at that stage!

So to make sure that I get a 'proper' 12-week scan this time, I have told a little white lie

Im very unsure too.. I missed my 1st scan due to the fact i didnt know i was pregnant.

M/W put it from last period saying June i think. But i was still Bleeding until 0ctober!!

I had my scan at 21+ weeks i only knew i was pregnant at 19 weeks and doc thought i was more than that.

Scan put my EDD at 19th April Conception 14- 16 July Which works out with my Parnter.

But Cos the bleeding carried on till October im confused, i cant say when my last real period was.

And yes im still waiting for my baby to be born even now.

The measurements all match up to the dates and weeks in size from each visit with the M/W.

Can anyone Shed some light on this?

I always change my LMP date so that it ties in with the ovulation date (from OPKs & charting). I usually ovulate late in the cycle & would be a week behind if I went by LMP, by going by my ovulation date I've never been more than 1 day out from my scan date.

Bear in mind that a dating scan at 12 weeks is far less acuurate than one done earlier (7 weeks for example) - by 12 weeks constituational differences in fetal size (i.e. big baby/small baby) will be present but before 8 weeks embryo development is pretty standard.

TBH I think for most people it doesn't matter that much - especially if you don't want to be hassled about induction etc - I can't go past 38 weeks because of placental problems, so an accurate date is really important to me.

Im just worried, could they have it totally wrong and the baby be due later in May?

As im at hospital Monday for a sweep, then if nothing two days later Induction!!
