I took the morning after pill on Friday, the 4th of October after unprotected sex following the removal of a copper coil. The coil was removed due to very heavy bleeding. I have two children already but myself and my husband have been on the fence for a little while about having a third. This was the first time I have taken in the morning after pill as we were still not 100% with the idea, however we have now come to the agreement that we will wait and see and if we fall pregnant, we will be over the moon with whatever happens.
My question is, when am I now likely to ovulate if the pill has successfully delayed ovulation? I was supposed to have ovulated on the 6th of October and my period is due on the 21st of October.
I have been taking ovulation tests over the last few days, however, the test line is never as dark as the control line although I do feel they are getting closer each day. For anyone who has possibly been in this unusual situation, I would appreciate a little bit of advice about when it is likely I may ovulate, or because it was so close to my ovulation date when I took the pill could ovulation have already begun?
