Hiya I'm 37 weeks exactly, I've just went to pee and settle for the night, but I noticed my pad had this discharge/marks, baby seems to be doing just fine, lots of movement, I did have quite intense back and belly aches earlier but it eased up so not sure if any connection with that
Does anyone know what this could be, should I be concerned?
Thank you 😊

Probably nothing, but if it continues I'd call maternity assesment as rhey might want to check your waters aren't leaking.

Call MAU. They'd rather check 100 healthy babies than miss something.
With hindsight the back ache I had the day before I went into labour was a sign (DD was back to back) but worth getting the pad checked. If your waters break more than (I think) 24 hours before things progress the risk of infection increases.

On reflection i think you'd best call them tonight and see if they want you in to be checked now. Better safe than sorry

Thanks, I'm going to message my midwife the photos and see what she suggests 🥰 keep you updated

Yeah your right, rather be to cautious than not cautious enough when it comes to pregnancy. I'm going to send my midwife the photos x

Your midwife is unlikely to pick up the photos until at least the morning, most likely later.
I'd ring mau now and see what they suggest, 37 weeks is technically term so they might be happy to wait until the morning if baby is moving well but at least then they know you're concerned re discharge etc now. If they ask you to go up then please do, I know it's late/you might still have work in the morning but far, far better to check.
