I tried getting help from the council with housing but had no luck, the house I am currently residing in has black mould, maggots from a broken gutter outside with a deceased animal in it, other problems with the house and I'm living with a paranoid skitzophrenic who keeps smoking inside the house which causes arguments. I cannot afford to pay full rent on maternity pay. She is due in November and the mould is only going to get worse. I'm scared to go into the local hostel as the public are allowed in and it has broken windows. My ex partner assaulted me not long ago so I wouldn't feel safe in the hostel. I see no way out. Am I out of luck? I don't know where to turn.
