Hi everyone I hope you are all well

I'm currently in the 2 week wait.... by accident ?

I haven't been on contraception for the past year due to personal reasons and dp has had no problem pulling out until 2 days ago. He ejaculated inside of me. I use the flo app to track every period and it's very accurate to notify me when my next period is, according to the app the day dp ejaculated in me was peak ovulation day so my highest chance of getting pregnant. - it wasn't in the plan to have another baby right now but I suppose what do we expect having unprotected sex. I didn't take the MAP as I had an issue with it a few years ago so we've taken the chance.... please don't judge me.

If it happens we'll be happy no matter what

Period is due in 13 days. I obviously don't know if I was ovulating but the chances are very high as it was 2 weeks after the start of my last period and my next period is due in 2 weeks.

Anyone else in the 2 week wait?

The main morning after pill stops ovulation so if you had already ovulated it wouldn't stop you getting pregnant. The coil can also be used as emergency contraception up to 5 days after unprotected sex. It stops the egg from being fertilised and implanting so can be used after if you have already ovulated at the point of unprotected sex. It can be removed a few weeks later.

Leaving that aside it sounds like you are accepting that your method of reducing pregnancy can result in pregnancy and that even whilst pregnancy wasn't the plan you can make the best of it. I'm not going to judge you for that. There are a hell of a lot a people walking this earth conceived in this situation! What matters now is not what you did but what you are going to do now. Keep yourself busy over the next 2 weeks and have a good think about what could happen and maybe review your approach to preventing pregnancy if there is utter dread.

@Superscientist thanks for the reply. Yes we've decided to take the chance, as we do want more children in future it wouldn't be the most ideal right now but it's the consequence's of our own actions. And we'd be happy regardless.

I'm nervous ahhh

Anyone else in the 2 week wait???

We had an accidental late ovulation pregnancy... yaayyy 😑
We did absolutely not want a third but couldn't go through a termination. Like you said, our consequences for our own actions! So now we're 7 weeks into the 40 week wait....
You may find more people in the tww in the conception tab 😊
