Hi all, new here but always looking things up on search so figured I'd join.
Just had my 20 weeks scan, baby's right kidney is swollen and I have been booked in to fetal medicine for another scan and consultant to see what the next steps need to be. If anyone has any stories or info they want to share that would be great, I'm trying to prepare myself but I just can't shake the anxiety and fear of the unknown. I have been classed as high risk due to pcos and previous miscarriages so this is my miracle baby and anxiety is taking over rn.

Hi, do you know how many millimetres dilated they are? This is the most common abnormality and it’s most likely going to correct itself or can be managed usually.

Talk to your midwife if you need support with the added anxiety xx
