My periods are irregular after coming off the contraceptive injection 1yr ago. I thought they had settled down which is why when my period was late this month I got hopeful. Yesterday I did a pregnancy test which looked as though there may be a very very faint line but it was a clear blue so a high chance of an evap line. Today I’ve done another strip test which is very negative. I’m 5 days late today 😔 I know there is still a chance but I feel like I’m just getting my hopes up. I have two children and I know I want a third to complete our family. I just wish it was easier I barely had to “try” with my two it was so easy

Hey, it’s so difficult in this waiting period I feel you! The only advice I can offer is that if you aren’t tracking ovulation, you can’t be sure that your period is late. The luteal phase is usually always the same length, but the follicular phase can vary month to month. Your period may not be due just yet this month. But like you say, sometimes you are testing slightly early and maybe a positive will show up in a few days! Have you been doing any OPKS?
