Hi all.

i am currently 6 weeks 5 days pregnant, and I had some symptoms at weeks 4/5. Tender breasts, nauseous, frequent trips to the bathroom. These symptoms now seem to have disappeared over the last week and I now mostly feel completely fine apart from sometimes waves of nausea and also tiredness. I’ve had no cramping or bleeding. Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else?
also booked in for an early scan at 8 weeks, has anyone been who is plus sized 18/20 and have they been able to see anything on the scan?

Hi, my first pregnancy with my son I had barely any symptoms for the whole of my first trimester. I was lucky as didn't have any morning sickness or cramps. The only thing I had was the need to pee a lot more and at around 9 weeks my sense of smell was crazy. Other than that I had nothing really to point towards being pregnant. He's now 5. X

They will probably do a transvaginal scan at 8 weeks, or they should be anyway! You can’t really se much otherwise or get accurate readings. I know some people do have abdominal scans at 8 weeks but I’m a size 12 and the EPAU said unless you’re ultra lean (which I’m not!), then an internal is the way forward for early scans.

Congratulations OP. It's totally normal for symptoms to come and go through the first trimester - mine didn't really kick in at all until over 7 weeks.

I has next to no symptoms with both my pregnancies, I just had sore boobs very very early on and that’s how I knew to take a test. The sore boobs didn’t last very long probably only a week or so. Then absolutely nothing. No sickness, nothing.
