Hi all just wanted your views on this, feel anxious but I’m pleased too I have a boy who is 14 and girl 9 currently both normal delivery full term. Don’t know why I feel so nervous

I'm 44 expecting my second. They will monitor you more closely for things like preeclampsia, extra growth scans towards the end etc but so far no issues for me and I'm near the end! My consultant told me that while age does obviously increase risk of certain things, overall health and just luck of the genetic draw is far more relevant!

Many people have healthy pregnancies and babies at much older ages than yourself. Congratulations x
