My iron levels were fine at 28 weeks. I’m now 33+6 and I am just wiped. I feel queasy most days, acid reflux and PGP are making me just want to slob on the sofa. Is it normal?

I found that was the case with my first pregnancy by the 8th month. Walking was an effort, I was breathless and just felt drained!

Yep that was me in my third trimester. Not sure how I didn't get fired, i couldn't keep up at work at all.

Third trimester sucks. Don't know if it's normal but my whole immune system shut down at 34 weeks. At one point I dragged myself to the doctor and they were kinda shocked. I had a chest infection, and eye infection (conjunctivitis) and ear infection and a yeast infection. That was on top of the awful tiredness, pgp and sciatica that I had from second trimester onwards. So happy that my waters broke in week 37 and shortened my suffering. All my symptoms disappeared within hours of giving birth. Pregnancy is super weird.

If it helps, I felt incredible immediately after the birth, pain all gone, energy back to normal. I think the exhaustion. In particular sneaks up on you and you forget that it isn't normal.

Yeah I think by the third trimester it’s well and truly time to stop. We all like to keep going in this country up until the last minute but now is the time to just relax, take it easy before the baby comes.
