Sooooo I know others may think I'm lucky but I'm seriously concerned. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I've had no morning sickness, just nausea every so often.

I think because I miscarried last year at 9 weeks and also didn't have morning sickness I'm a little worried.

I have my midwife appointment on Friday and will ask her but last time she said it's normal. But it turns out that when I saw her then my baby had already passed.

I'm trying to stay positive but it is so hard 😞

Hi angel, sorry to hear about your previous miscarriage. However massive congratulations that you are pregnant again! I've not had morning sickness, just nausea and mine started at 6 weeks exactly, some days I feel fine, some I get nausea. I'm now 9 weeks pregnant and had an early scan to confirm everything is ok! Not everyone gets morning sickness and it's totally normal for symptoms to come and go, however I know how scared you must feel. Have you considered an early scan? For reassurance, they aren't as accurate as NHS ones but they can show you the little heartbeat x

My three friends all avoided morning sickness.

In my first pregnancy I only got the slightest bit of nausea and mine was a mmc. I had the tiredness and needing the toilet though.

In my second pregnancy I got nausea from 5/6 weeks but only occasional waves of it. Then from 7+ weeks it turned to morning sickness and continued on and off until 14 weeks. That resulted in my son.

Im pregnant again and im 11 weeks. Well this one I started nausea 24/7 at 5.5/6 weeks, and sickness at 6.5/7 weeks. Then it suddenly disappeared at 8.5 weeks. I had a scan at 10 weeks and it was ok at that point. I have no idea anymore what’s normal and what isn’t. I thought I understood what would happen. So now I’m impatiently waiting and hoping it’s all still ok at the 12 week scan.

I didn’t get bad nausea until later than 6 weeks, maybe 7+ weeks? Then I didn’t vomit much I just felt sick all of the time. Lasted until about 15 weeks.

With DS I started throwing up at 7+4 and developed HG so bad it almost killed us both. You've got time...

My mum had 4 of us and never had morning sickness with any of us! In fact, the one time she did have sickness, was when she miscarried.

Symptoms or lack of them are no indication on the viability of a pregnancy.

I've had it in both pregnancies unfortunately but in my first pregnancy, my sickness and nausea didn't even start till after 7 weeks. I had no symptoms at all up until then (she's now 4)

It's really variable. With my first pregnancy I had horrid sickness and had my daughter. With my second pregnancy I horrid sickness, probably worse than the first and was on antiemetics until 3 days after my miscarriage at 10 weeks.

My mum had three children/pregnancies and her worst sickness was mine in the middle and lasted the whole pregnancy. Her third was initially a twin pregnancy but the sickness wasn't as bad as when she was pregnant with me.

I tried to remain calm but my anxiety got the best of me over the last week. So yesterday we paid for an early scan and seeing that heartbeat on the screen was the best thing ever! It's made everything seem that more real now despite my concerns and lack of symptoms.

I know I still have a long way to go and it may still happen but it has put my mind at ease for now.

Thank you all for your support it means a lot ❤️

I didn't have ANY nausea or sickness at all with my first two pregnancies and have two healthy happy boys.

I'm pregnant with my third,(7 +4) I've had a couple of waves of nausea and a few dry heaves but it's rare (at the moment).

Everyone is different, don't panic! Wishing you a happy pregnancy x
