Bedside crib for ottoman bed

I bought a snuzpod 4 as it claims to fit ottomans which have no gap just straight to the floor.
But the instructions were confusing so I called them and because the bed has a frame to it that is 2 inches it isn't safe to use as a bedside crib as the crib will be inches from the adult mattress.
Struggling to find anything suitable! Can anyone recommend one that will work? I have a dusk ottoman bed. This is such a gap in the market if there is nothing!
If not can anyone recommend an alternative to a bedside crib that will be easiest thing for keeping baby close?

We have the Lua Bedside Crib from Mamas and Papas and it goes up to the side of the bed, the side of the crib goes down a bit but not fully so no risk of baby rolling out. We’ve loved it, my daughter is nearly 6 months now and still is perfectly fine in there x
