I am currently 5W+3D pregnant with baby #3 and since turning 5 weeks I’ve been constantly sick! DD1 I had no sickness whatsoever, DD2 sickness from about 8W-16W. This time around just feels like it’ll never end even though I’m so early on 😥
my stomach feels constantly full, which makes me FEEL sick all the time, then when I do eat I’m literally sick 😷
I have to take daily medication on a ‘full stomach’ which isn’t helpful when I’m literally not eating.
im finding ginger snaps help me slightly and drinking cold water. Any advice would be very much appreciated 🙏

The first trimester can be absolutely brutal. I wasn't so bad in my first pregnancy but this time round the sickness and nausea has been horrendous.

Symptoms do come and go so I've had times when it's suddenly gone for a few days and I've felt great but then it comes back with a vengeance!

I'm 14 weeks now and had this from about 5 weeks. Last week I thought it was finally over as had a good 5 days without feeling or being sick but then one night i woke up at 3am with that familiar feeling and it's been back since then.

It's awful so you have my full sympathy, I'm not one of these that enjoys pregnancy at all, it's bloody hard! But I will say it is totally worth it in the end. If the sickness is totally unmanageable, then speak to your GP as they can give you medication to help.

Eating wise, at your stage I was on an all inclusive holiday which turned out to be the biggest waste of money for me ever as I could barely manage a dry cracker or thin slice of cucumber! Just nibble on what you can, when you can. It's a matter of survival in the first trimester..... don't worry too much about nutrition and stay hydrated.

Good luck

Sorry to say that I was sick and felt sick daily til my twins were delivered early at 30 weeks. I was in hospital from week 17. I lost weight and was only 7 st 4 lbs on discharge. All of us were healthy. I never got pregnant again.
