Hi guys just a question. I feel warm inside that could be because I'm 31 weeks now. Earlier i was sitting in my fleece top and a blanket over myself. I then felt my back and stomach it felt warm I did the thermometer digital test on it and it came up high in the late 37 zone and was amber on the screen beeping. I then took the blanket off and waited 10 mins it went down to a standard temperature. Does this mean I have a fever or is it just a case of being 31 weeks pregnant and Also having warm layers on me at the time making my skin temp raise. My forhead was ok just my stomach and back that were high.

Thanks a lot

If you had a fever your temp wouldn’t decrease when you take the blanket off as it’s your core temp

You don't test for a fever through your stomach. Your forehead was fine, and your stomach was fine once you moved the blanket, so no fever.

As others said, if you had a fever it wouldn’t drop if you cooled down. I’ve been so warm whole pregnancy! Never taken my temperature though, don’t own a thermometer.

You've got your own internal central heating when pregnant. I used to run cold but when I was pregnant I was forever too hot. You're fine
