I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant and this morning parts of my mucus plug have come away and I’ve been cramping slightly.
I’ve just seen midwife who advised to do self-swab for thrush (as I’ve had some symptoms of this) but when I did it it hurt so badly getting it in and there was blood on it when I took it out.
MW didn’t seem concerned and said it was probably a symptom of thrush but I’m a bit worried my cervix is open and I’ve caused issues? It’s still sore now and I’m still cramping but no bleeding since.
