The 1st trimester is brutal - especially vomiting in the evenings, help?

I am 11 weeks today and I am barely managing to cope with the changes and symptoms. I really hate vomiting when it happens! Luckily I can eat a decent amount of food however I feel worse and feel like vomiting when it is after 21:00. It feels like my body is trying to vomit everything out. I usually have a lot of saliva, and stomach acid coming out with food (tmi). It makes me have tears in my eyes and sometimes I have to stay awake until I cannot vomit anymore. I also have runny nose and need to cough after vomiting.

I usually hold my breath to brush my teeth and quickly swallow prenatal vitamins before I go to bed. But occasionally I still vomit them out. That is really really frustrating.
Do you have similar experience? Any suggestions?

Call your GP for anti sickness tablets. They work a treat. You don’t need to suffer

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I’m 14 weeks and it’s much the same as you - so much worse in the evenings. Really struggling to clean my teeth as it just makes me throw up, then I have to do it again. I’m often getting up in the night to vomit too.

I’m taking Xonvea, which obviously hasn’t cured me, but my symptoms are hugely better than during my last pregnancy when I was hospitalised several times with dehydration. Maybe something similar might help you? If not, hopefully time will be kind to us and this will pass.

Brutal is the exact weird I use for the first trimester! Stay strong OP and focus on the big picture.

If you are finding it too much, speak to your GP to see about getting some pregnancy friendly anti sickness meds

I'm also 11 weeks and being sick multiple times a day. I'm struggling to keep any food down I told it gets to the evening when it starts to pass a little. I'm prescribed Xonvea which worked really well at first, although I'm still being sick now. Id definitely give your GP a call, there are several medications you can try.

I am so sorry to hear that! I was told that thing would get better from 14 weeks. Have you been taking any anti sickness medication? I am taking one 25 mg tablet of promethazine hydrochloride before I go to bed. It helps.
