Brown discharge - photo warning TMI!

Hi just wondered if this brown discharge is normal? I did an excercise class this morning (I took it easy). I’ve only had clear discharge so far. I’m currently approx 6 weeks pregnant

Change in discharge is very common especially that early on! Does it have a smell? I'd say you're fine. I had yellow discharge until about 11 weeks-ish!

It doesn’t smell, I’ve been having discharge, just not this colour. I’m just worried I might have caused it 😢. I’ve booked an early scan for the 11th October so 🤞🏼

I had similar. Already had 3 miscarriages. Expected this to be the 4th, to the extent went to buy a top up supply of pads etc.

However, it was just the slight brown spot and that pregnancy is now upstairs tidying his room (begrudgingly, apart from the joyous removal of his GSCE revision notes and books now he is studying A levels).

Maybe worth a call to the EPU on Monday? The sonographer could see (as well as the reassuring heartbeat) where the slight bleed had come from.

But, a previous pregnancy did not turn out so well after some spotting. This was later (c10 weeks) and all my nausea had disappeared)

Sorry you went through 3 miscarriages. It’s so upsetting. I will see how it goes, if it gets worse I will call EPU. They wasn’t very helpful in my last pregnancy so 🤞🏼x

Just remember, whether good or bad news, it will NOT be your exercise class that caused this.

I had spotting right the way through with DS2.

I had similar with ds at 6 weeks pg, brown clot after exercise class. Had an early scan which showed foetal pole and no issues (too early for heartbeat). Assumed exercise dislodged old blood. No further issues in my pregnancy, i continued exercise too, he's now 10 . Good luck. Call the EPU for advice.

I had very dark brown discharge with both my pregnancies until weeks 10/11 from about week 5, they are aged 10 & 14 now!
