This is my second pregnancy and I seem to be unable to keep large meals down all of a sudden?
First trimester I had nausea but lucky wasn't sick. Now hit 17/18 weeks and I've started vomiting about midnight if I've eaten a large meal that evening?
Two nights but 3 days apart I spent the night vomiting, I initially thought I'd got a norovirus bug the first time but now I'm so confused.
Admittedly I have been eating quickly, both times it was pasta weirdly.

Is there such thing as severe indigestion? I have no feeling of heartburn but I didn't have this vomiting with my first baby and just wondering if anyone else had the same in their pregnancies, or maybe I do have just another noro bug!

My nausea and vomiting kept coming back I had it through the first trimester a week in the second and then 26-36 weeks

Yes you can also get indigestion as your stomach has less and less space. You can speak to you GP about omperazole and you might find 4-6 small meals throughout the day better than 3 bigger meals

From what I've read, nausea and sickness can be on and off through the whole pregnancy! I had some nausea at 7-9 weeks, then it got worse when I was thinking it should get better until about 12 weeks. I'm on meds now (cyclizine) and I still have nausea but I've stopped vomitting. Some days it's way better than others! Just thinking of the adorable little prize we'll get at the end of the 9 months 💛 you're not alone my friend!

Thanks everyone ❤️ I'm just getting a bit worried because I'm losing weight from the vomiting! I'll speak to my midwife or GP next week to see it theyre concerned for extra reassurance xx

Don't be scared to ask for meds if you need them! Especially if it's causing noticeable weight loss. I'm on cyclizine and they have worked for me! X
