I am 4 weeks 4 days. I have been taking folic acid and vitamin D for the last few years as had IVF, I saw my friend today and she said I should be taking pregnacare and now I’m confused if I should be.

i eat a really healthy diet and have fruit and vegetables every day, I also eat fish once a week, red meat twice a week and chicken the rest of the week.

i eat a lot of spinach and asparagus and broccoli and also berries.

any advice would be appreciated x

Congratulations!
I took the seven seas one, they're nice and small to swallow. PP are right, baby will take so much from you and some days you might not feel like eating healthy food. I went off meat at around 8 weeks and just wanted plain pasta and bread!

Pregnacare is just an expensive multi vitamin marketed to pregnant women. You will be fine with vit D and folic acid.

I agree with this, but I am on pregnacare. I used to take Folic acid and vitamin D before too, but we were trying for 5 years with absolutely no success naturally or with ivf either, so i became a bit desperate and I thought that for our last cycle we will try everything. So I switched to pregnacare original and a vegan omega 6 product. I don't think it made a difference, but I am stickig to this now. Luckily it didn't make me nauseous at all, although I have an easy pregnancy so far, well at least symptomwise.

I took no supplements during my first pregnancy but had a super healthy diet. Baby (child now 7) healthiest I know. Current pregnancy I've been taking pregnacare. Your diet alone sounds fine to me. Congratulations x

Thanks so much x

I take pregnecare, I ditto what previous posters have said - I buy them from Amazon. Very cheap. If you buy from boots/asda etc they're 4x the price for some bizzare reason. X
