Hi , just wanted any advice from anyone who's been in a similar situation. My landlord gave me 2 months to leave as she's selling up. I am 4 months pregnant and have 2 other children, my eldest (6) has SEN and youngest is 2. I have made the council aware and I'm just waiting for someone to tell me what's next. My anxiety is through the roof. I have looked at other private properties but the rent is ALOT and just not affordable. I worry about how long it will take to be housed. I understand every council's list is different but would be good to know kind of a time frame. I'm terrified to go in a hostel with my kids aswell. What are they like ??

Is it just you? Or do you have a partner too? Any friends or family who can help? Temporary housing can really vary e.g. bed and breakfast type places and can be for a while although it varies between councils. Best of luck

Are you and baby's Dad together and do you have jobs? Realistically you're likely to be waiting a while for a permanent home in most areas so try to prepare for that. Temporary housing can range from a flat type place or a room in a b and b.
