Different pregnancies vs gender experience

Hi. I'm just curious on peoples experiences. First pregnancy I had no sickness or nausea at all and Craved Salty Food more than sweet and had a boy. I'm only 2 months with my second but I have sickness and nausea 24/7 and crave sweet mainly. I also love everything berries and apple when it comes to juice and hate orange juice... but now its the opposite and I love orange juice. Never thought I'd see the day. Have people had completley opposite pregnancies but the same gender or has it been the opposite for you. I'm keeping mine a surprise but just curious. Thankyou x

Totally different pregnancies and cravings with my 2 boys. 😊

Two pregnancies, both girls, both completely different experiences:

First pregnancy - nothing until 7 weeks then some sickness/nausea but nothing terrible, massive food aversions, really heightened sense of smell, went completely off meat, main craving was ice cream, loved all fruit.

Second pregnancy - horrendous sickness/nausea (much worse than first time), no food aversions, increased appetite (just can't keep much down after I've eaten it), terrible headaches, debilitating tiredness, dizzy spells, mainly craving savoury foods.

It's true what they say that every single pregnancy is different regardless on if it's a boy or a girl

Two girls, completely different pregnancies.

First pregnancy, vomiting 2-3 times a day until 22weeks ish and then again from 34weeks. Cravings were carbs - plain pasta, mashed potato etc. Couldn't stomach the smell or taste of any meat. Couldnt bear toothpaste. Baby really quite lazy, no pattern to movements and movements never very strong.

Second pregnancy, vomiting probably about 10times total in the whole pregnancy, no real cravings, diet able to pretty much stay the same, very strong movements and clear pattern from the start.

Was convinced number 2 was going to be a boy but she surprised us all when she arrived!

Three pregnancies, two boys and one girl.

First - Boy, sickness, craved a lot of red meat and protein like peanuts.
Second - Boy, felt awful first trimester, craved a lot of red meat and peanuts.
Third - girl, felt awful first trimester, craving things like cherry tomatoes, strawberries and slushy drinks.

My pregnancy was quite different with my 2 DDs so I was convinced DD2 was going to be a boy, didn't quite trust my eyes when she was born!

My mother had 3 different pregnancies too and has 1 DD, 2 DSs

I'm pregnant with a boy, horrible sickness until around 22 weeks. I've loved salty foods, ie salt and vinegar Discos, but also fruit, especially strawberries and apple juice!

2 boys

1st pregnancy. Migraines, bleeding gums, just feeling like I'd been hit by a truck until 6-7 weeks. Ate a lot of cereal and was obsessed with cheese sandwiches from the co op 😂

2nd pregnancy. No symptoms. Didn't have any cravings either that I recall.

I am 20 weeks with second and just found he’s a boy! This pregnancy so far has been much kinda than with my daughter. With my daughter felt so sick, exhausted, migraines, could only eat beige or sweet things and mainly orange juice and oranges. This time no aversions to any food, just absolutely starving all of the time, some tiredness but not like the first.

Crazyhope · 26/09/2024 17:38

Totally different pregnancies for me with 2 boys
had HG in my first pregnancy from week 5/6 all the way up until labour and generally felt awful, couldn’t keep anything down
currently 26 weeks with another boy and one or 2 bouts of sickness here and there but otherwise just starving all the time

MissSkegness1951 · 26/09/2024 17:48

Terrible morning sickness with my son, craved hot and spicy food.

Not so bad morning sickness with my daughter and craved fizzy things and candy floss.

Pregnancy 1 - Hungover up until 10 weeks, vomiting 10-17 weeks, completely went off chocolate for the entire pregnancy (SO unlike me) - Girl

This pregnancy (I’m 18+3) - VERY tired but minimal nausea, zero vomiting, don’t really have any food aversions. Also a girl! I was absolutely convinced she was a boy because I feel so different.

One boy, one girl and identical pregnancies.
