How do I remove bugaboo adapters from a maxi cosi seat??!

Help! I've been given a maxi cosi cabriofix, with bugaboo adapters attached (we're not getting a bugaboo), and I cannot work out how to get them off! Have searched online and can't find any instructions. I'm sure it's really simple, but I can't do it!!!

Try pushing the 'buttons' positioned over the adaptors, and pulling the adaptors at the same time.
