Signs of labour

Hi,

I'm 39+1 and I'm just wondering if anybody had any signs before labour started or did it just start out of no where? I know it's different for every woman. I'm just curious, I've not really had any symptoms as of yet other than lower back ache and I've not lost my mucus plug or anything yet well at least I don't think I have.

Loss of appetite, loss of mucus plug, and…contractions! (Then a baby coming out of vagina).

My bump went from being very taut to squiggy the afternoon before my waters went at midnight. I had a dull ache after putting my desk in the loft after having my last day at work and the change in my bump at the same time.Probably not an advisable activity for someone that was 38 weeks pregnant.
