First time Mum here and safe to say all this is new to me, and I think I'm just looking for some reassurance!
For the last couple of days I've been getting all sorts of aches and pains in my lower abdomen and lower back and I'm just trying to figure out what's normal at this point.
I've been getting niggling pains in my lower back and hips, and then on/off achey pains in my lower abdomen. They feel sort of feel like period pains, but no where near as strong! Occasionally they can feel a bit sharp, especially if I've been sat down for awhile and then move.
Could this just be growing pains/ligament pains?
Had my 12 week scan last week and baby was fine, in an awkward position so they couldn't get everything they needed but good heartbeat and everything.
These pains are just relatively new and I'm finding myself anxious about every little niggle!
No other reason to think something is wrong- no bleeding or intense pains thank god 🙏 I think I'm just over anxious?

It's completely normal my friend! I'm currently 14+2 and the aches have definitely eased off but every now and again they'll come back. Your uterus is stretching so much to house baba!! C

Sounds normal, lots of stretching going on I had the same with my first. It’s hard not to worry but sounds pretty normal. I think more sharp pains and if it’s really painful that’s when you need to get checked over

Glad it's not just me! I spent 3 days with what felt like a moving stitch

Thank you guys ❤️ pregnancy is so bizarre isn't it- and quite lonely, no one else in my immediate circle is pregnant right now so it can be difficult to find reassurance.
Aches/Pains are definitely more uncomfortable than truly painful, but will keep an eye on it!
I've got another scan at around 16 weeks to try and measure baby properly this time, and I'm glad I've got that in the not too distant future.
Literally only saw them a week ago and already anxious to see them again and know they're okay!
Thank you for you responses ❤️

I had this. Weirdly it gets better for a while until it gets worse at the end! Mine passed around 15 weeks with the other first trimester symptoms.

I'm 13+5, second pregnancy and this is completely normally. Round ligament pain can either be crampy or feel like short sharp little shocks, normally very low down on either side of your abdomen.
In later pregnancy, we also have 'lightning crotch' to contend with.
Ah, the joys of pregnancy!
