Speak to your MW. Speak to friends. Find relevant books. Source out playgroups/ children’s centres. Make sure you reach out and find support wherever you can get it and hopefully you won’t continue to struggle.

He just don't get why I'm feeling insecure or anything 😔 obviously he's making my moods worse. I'm worried if go to midwife she will get social services

Maybe he doesn’t get it. Maybe he will in time or maybe he won’t. But in either case you need to reach out to other sources of support.

On the basis of what you have described, there’s nothing there that will interest SS.

It's ok for him he's not the one we're his body and everything is changing.

Prenatal depression isn't talked about enough. Your midwife will support you rather than rushing to social services and is also like to ensure support is in place for after the birth as you're more likely to have PND.

I think the best thing is to leave him because he's making me worse and baby feels everything I do. It's true what they say a woman never forgets how a man treat her when she was pregnant

About to say something similar.

Don't rush into decision like this. It sounds like you are really upset of him, but from your comments there isn't a lot to tell why.

It is hard to understand other people's emotions and your partner might try to help you by brushing them off

Don't worry about what the baby feel. Mums need to be under much more stress to have an affect on the baby.

Have you managed to talk to the midwife or to someone else? I hope you feel better now

I'm seeing my midwife Monday so will talk to her then .

Please don’t be afraid of talking to your midwife. I had very bad depression during pregnancy and didn’t tell anyone for a long time. It got to the point where I eventually broke down to my midwife and she was so helpful and supportive. She referred me to NHS counselling which I managed to get amazingly quickly because I was pregnant and it helped so much. There was never any mention of SS at all - it was all about helping ❤️
