...even if there's almost no way you could be? Maybe its just because I'm as broody as hell at the moment, but dh and I only bd'ed once this month, and protection was used, (condom) but I'm totally convinced I'm pg. Most strange feeling. AF due sometime this week, probably today or tomorrow, but I just feel odd iykwim. Had this happened to anyone else?

yes - it was wishful thinking I'm afraid

EsmeWeatherwax · 21/04/2008 12:02

Lol, I'm almost glad, dh would have some kind of histrionic episode if I actually was, he freaked when I joked that I wanted a baby for my birthday in two weeks...

only when i actually was.

mindalina · 21/04/2008 12:09

Yes I do this all the time. I tested three times in a month once, and this is the really stupid bit [whispers] dp and I hadn't even had sex that month

walkinlikeacowboy · 21/04/2008 12:14

Yes, I do every month! Its always wishful thinking and I manage to convince myself that I'm pregnant!! Maybe next month ....!

EsmeWeatherwax · 21/04/2008 12:14

Mindalina . I'm trying to resist nipping out to Boots in my lunch hour and buying a test.

Diva, I've been pregnant before, and not that long ago, so you'd think I'd remember if I felt like this then...

oh yes - and I have also been totally convinced I was not when I was

Work on your dh - I convinced mine recently to go for another

EsmeWeatherwax · 21/04/2008 12:24

Schneebly, He's fine about ttc another baby, just not yet, wants us to wait til later in the year, which is eminently sensible, as he's currently doing volunteer work to get experience in a new field, and I'm starting a postgrad in September. I can see his point, now that I write it down...

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 21/04/2008 12:25

Yes but only when I technically could be IYKWIM

schneebly · 21/04/2008 12:58

I might be joining you in waiting until later on in the year actually Esme as i just got a place on a course and would need to do placements next Jan and May so best for me to wait until September/October to start ttc too!

EsmeWeatherwax · 21/04/2008 14:13

Maybe we can hold hands til then, lol, I'm rubbish at waiting on my own! Or indeed, in company...

What course are you doing? Mine will be p/t through work, in Librarianship. Dead interesting huh? But at least no placements as I already work in a library.

OP posts:
schneebly · 21/04/2008 19:32

Esme - I am not great at waiting either lol! My course is in Primary Education (part time option) and there are no placements in second year so it would be much better to wait for a bit!

cluckyagain · 21/04/2008 19:34

Yes - I was utterly convinced that pregnant even after dh vasectomy - turned out that I was! (then mc ) Having said that, I've also been convinced at other times and I haven't been - wishful thinking I suspect.

NotABanana · 21/04/2008 19:59

All the time. Even on month when we hadn't done anything. lol.

fledtoscotland · 21/04/2008 20:47
