2 cysts on left kidney at 20 week scan

Hey guys! My best friend had her 20 week scan yesterday and she was referred to fetal medicine as 2 cysts were seen on baby’s left kidney. She is so worried as am I, has anyone been through this before? Her other kidney is fine, it’s the left one that has cysts. Will they go away by themselves, is it possible? Will baby be okay? 🥺

I’m sure the baby will be closely monitored and most likely any treatment decided after birth. There’s no point in worrying - try to support your friend in being positive - there’s every chance of a good outcome.
