Apologies in advance if I’m not using the correct terminology as I’ve never posted on MN before but I’m hoping someone can give me some advice before I go out of my mind. I tested positive on 7th September and should have been 6+1 today but I started spotting pink/brown early last week which then had turned red and slightly heavier by Friday. This has continued all weekend and I've been really crampy with period type pains. I got a scan booked for this morning at EPU and they said they can see a thickening (sorry I can’t remembered the rest about this part) but she couldn’t see a sac or anything else. She looked around for ages and checked my ovaries etc but said there was nothing so they’d class that as a “pregnancy in unknown location”. They took bloods and phoned me just now to say my HCG levels are 1624 and my progesterone is 14.2. She said these are too high and I need repeat bloods in 48 hrs to check the levels. Does anyone have any experiences of anything similar in the past that can offer some advice as to what to expect? Thank you
