Hey,

I went for an early dating scan at 7 weeks and they advised me that the dates I had advised were correct as I know when I ovulated due to LH strips.

Yesterday I went for another a scan 2.5 weeks later and they advised me that I am a week ahead and the due date has changed a week earlier due to measurements.

Is this correct when you know when you ovulated as I always thought your first dating scan would be correct?

I am currently waiting for my NHS scan to be booked in.

Any advice would be appreciated 😊

You’ll find that the 12 week scan win change them again and that’ll be the date they’ll go from. It can be hard to measure when they’re so tiny. I’m sure after your NHS dating scan it’ll be more in line with your dates.

Your due date will officially l go off the date of your last missed period until you have your NHS 12 week dating scan. At that point they might change it.

Ignore any private scans, they're just for info.

I also know when I ovulated and know when my "official" due date should be but I guess baby was looking bigger or more developed at my 12 week scan so they put me forward a week, this has now become my due date and won't change again now.
