Pregnant after partial molar

I've just found out I'm pregnant after a partial molar in April with a d&c to manage. I've been given the all clear last month that we could try again and have fallen pregnant quickly but now I'm terrified of something awful happening. Just wondering if anyone else has had a partial mole and a successful pregnancy or is pregnant now after one and how things are going. 🫶🏻

Congratulations @CLS89x I’m not much help I’m sorry as I’m not pregnant, but I was cleared to TTC again in July following a partial molar end April/beginning May.
At the moment I’m so focused on getting pregnant again, but know that if I do I will be so anxious.
Everything I’ve read is that it is so rare that it shouldn’t happen again. But I know the worry. Did you join the Facebook group about molars? There’s lots of positive stories on the after my molar pregnancy group

I'm so sorry this happened to you too! It really is awful and such an anxious time.
I haven't joined the Facebook group what is the name of it?

It’s such a cruel thing to have to go through.
If you don’t mind me asking, has it taken long for your cycles to go back to normal? It took 10 weeks for me to get a period after d&c. Then another 8 weeks for the next. Now I’m wondering what this next cycle will be like.
If you search ‘after my molar pregnancy support group’ it should come up. You have to answer a couple of questions before it allows you to join

I was told about my mc on 18th April baby had stopped growing at 8w6d I then had my surgical evac on the 29th April then my first period after was 29th May(I bled for 9 days). Next period was 26th June (lasted 7 days) then my August period was the last before falling pregnant now was just a normal 5 day bleed.

My levels were at 0 16 weeks after my surgery i repeated them two weeks later still at 0 so was given the all clear.

Ahh that’s good, it seems like your cycles regulated fairly quickly. I was at 0 in mid July, so didn’t get a period until then & it seems to be taking its time to get into any sort of normal pattern

Hi I had a partial molar with surgery in April. I also got pregnant quickly as soon as I was cleared and I’m now 12 weeks. I’ve had healthy looking scans at 7 weeks and 10 weeks with the EPU and my dating scan is next week. Does your EPU offer reassurance scans since you’ve previously had a molar? I’ve found them invaluable!

I'm having an early scan in 9 days I'll only be 5w2d not sure if I'll get more after that but the hospital I was dealing with for the PMP has said I'm entitled to early reassurance scans so I'm hoping I'll get a couple before my dating scan but I had scans with my PMP at 6 weeks and 8 weeks and they didn't see anything so I'm unsure if it helps or not. I didn't find out it was a partial mole until tests came back from after my surgery. I had 3 miscarriages before the partial aswell but never had any tests or anything. I've had 4 miscarriages from August 2023 to April 2024 😔
