Hey so last week I had a slight cough nothing that caused a worry especially with the change in weather also felt tired and slight headaches which I put down to bein 19 weeks pregnant. Now today my partner has tested positive for COVID and I'm so worried that that is what I had last week. I'm more worried as because my BMI is high I think I would of required blood thinning injections is contracting COVID. I'll call my midwife in the morning but without a positive test will I still be able to have the thinning injections now even tho I'm not testing positive just incase I did have it? Or is it something you need to take whilst still positive for COVID 😫
TIA for any advice x

Thing is you haven't been tested for covid and most people aren't testing so don't know when they have it. Mention it at your appointment see what they say

I know nothing about blood thinning injections, hopefully midwife will. But they’ll be multiple pregnant women with Covid unknowingly as I think it’s very unusual to test nowadays.

If you've had your covid jabs then risk of severe covid infection is still low, still worth calling the midwife in view of your raised BMI, drink plenty of water and try to keep moving
