I am currently 33 weeks pregnant.

I had some bleeding after sex 2 days ago and it continued with bloody discharge into the next day. I was seen my triage and they were happy my cervix is closed and baby doing well.

I've woken up this morning to what maybe looks like mucas plug?? Picture attached.

Has anyone had any experience like this and was it a sign of labour?

Not looking for medical advice just others opinions and experiences 😊

Mine was more solid than that, but if you’re worried could you call triage again?

It could be a part of it, but very common to for bits come out, not always a sign labour is near if there is no blood in it (bloody show).

@Chelseaflag - the bloody discharge over the past 2 days have been jelly like too so I'm wondering if maybe it's been coming away in parts. I honestly hate phoning triage I feel like such a burden when nothing is wrong 🙈
Baby moving plenty and feeling okay so just going to keep an eye for any changes x

If it’s plain like this it doesn’t indicate that labour is imminent.
I had one like this at 39 W and thought baby is coming soon but that didn’t ended being the case. I got induced overdue and when my mucus plug started to proper come down it comes with all sorts of goos and old blood and there’s quite a lot of it.
Mucus plugs can regenerate, I wouldn’t be too worried.
If this is clean like this then the bleeding you had before wasn’t linked to your cervix in a way that would indicate mucus plug coming just before labour.
