Pregnancy test

Started testing at 10dpo (Tuesday 17th) and saw faint lines for the first time. I Tested day & night and the faint lines showed up everytime within the timeframe. I also used a more reliable brand, clear blue and again I got a faint positive. I’m now 13dpo and AF is due tomorrow. But as I tested this morning the lines seem fainter not really sure what’s going on as I would expect lines to darken now. Can anyone help?

My test were very faint even a week after my period was late. The midwife told me that it didn’t matter how dark the line is, as long as there’s a solid thick line then that’s the important thing. My faint test is now a 7 month old!
