Percentile concern

Just had my 20 week anomaly scan on Tuesday 17th, apparently my baby is measuring small (on the 10th percentile), and apparently his legs are measuring slightly behind in growth like the 9th percentile I think they said? I have another scan tomorrow (Friday) with a consultant just to double check. It's difficult not to worry about it though, just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and if so, was your baby born a healthy weight etc?? Thanks

I've had growth scans in all 3 pregnancies.
My most recent baby was born 0.4th for weight and 2nd for height, she's now 6months and perfectly healthy but just small.
The whole things about the percentile chart is that there will be someone born at every point. Is not specifically that being on a low centile is bad, what matters is that the baby is growing, your placenta is healthy/the cord has good flow etc. If baby is dropping centiles then that's what is worrying, they should be keeping a close eye on you with regular scans so they can pick up if there's a problem.
Make a list of questions for your consultant, hopefully they can reassure you.
Good luck!

👆 This.

Some babies are small, some are big. Its not a competition. Also your centiles are individual to YOU (your age, weight, ethnicity etc). I wouldn't think about it at all, the only time you need to worry is if baby isn't maintaining a steady growth/weight gain, or for larger babies where there may be some concern about shoulders getting stuck etc.
