Unwashed fruit

I accidentally ate a pear that I forgot to wash. I know seems silly to worry but just panicking as I’m 8 weeks along. My husband thinks I’m worrying too much. Has anyone done this?

I’m 38 weeks and I rarely wash fruit or veg! Only if has visible dirt, if it’s from my garden or local farm. Honestly don’t worry.

Please try not to worry. Throughout human history women will have consumed all sorts during their first trimesters.
I had kombucha early on in one pregnancy then read afterwards that I ideally shouldn’t. Then in current pregnancy I was at a lovely country hotel tucking into the freshly laid eggs, when I overheard another pregnant woman asking if there were alternative eggs available that were lion-stamped - oops, I probably should have done the same.
Please don’t beat yourself up.

I ate a whole punnet of blueberries this afternoon and then realised I hadn’t washed. I’m sure all ok.

I've never washed any bought fruit or veg.
I did wash the apples from a tree at the weekend which was probably, in hindsight, cleaner
