I am late for my period which never happens. My partner and I both 30 are still in education, I in uni doing a nursing degree and he is in the midst of an electrical apprenticeship. Still no positive test however it’s probably still to early to tell. I have found a way that I could still continue uni even though it would be tough however I don’t want him to give up his career as I know it will be beneficial for us in the future. I don’t really know what I’m asking more just stressed and want to spill my thoughts

Why would your partner need to give up his career?

Typo we are both 20 and as he is an apprentice he doesn’t make a lot of money for the time being however if he finished his course he would qualify in 3 years and make much better money than he would in his previous job and he enjoys his job and I wouldn’t want him to give it up

If you have missed your period and are testing negative it is highly unlikely you are pregnant. You may have ovulated later (this is common despite people always saying they are regular) and your period will be delayed. I honestly wouldn’t worry about careers and things until you are 2 weeks late or have a positive test.

If your tests are negative and assuming you're using contraception without any slip ups, I wouldn't worry too much. Your period can be late occasionally, I've had this happen.
