Trying not to get carried away…

I thought I was just OVing late, but started to feel slightly nauseous and very sore and bloated so did a test on the complete off chance, not expecting anything. This showed up within 5 mins… I say “this” - I don’t know if it even is anything haha.

Have had two losses and no children, so don’t want to get carried away, but can anyone else see this? (Don’t lie if not haha <3 I’ve had my fair share of disappointment, so I’m a tough cookie as we all end up.)

@Mrsttcno1 waah! I will do, thank you. Fingers crossed it hangs about. Don't know whether to tell DH or not now... Part of me thinks not because don't want to get his hopes and the other part of me can't keep anything back from him for loving nor money haha.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for you! I always said I’d keep it a secret and tell DH “properly” when we were trying for my daughter, in reality I took a test in public toilets and then panicked (ridiculous as we had been actively trying, but there’s something about seeing a positive pregnancy test that still makes you panic a bit🤣) I went straight to my mum and told her, then went home and told my husband. I’d been adamant we’d keep it a secret but when it actually happened I really wanted & needed their support and so glad I did as they all kept me going through the anxiety of early pregnancy. If I was you I’d tell him because no matter what happens you will want to lean on and share it with him! My daughter is 5 months old now and we’ll be trying again soon and I already dread the stress of ttc again!! I’ve got everything crossed for you! Xx

I can see shadow so it can really be either way. I think you need to wait for a few more days and tests again. I wouldn't mention anything to your DH until you get a clear positive test.

Fingers crossed for you! If you can't wait until tomorrow then try and hold your pee for a good few hours, reduce your water intake and try again... I did this and got a more visible line 😊

@akk ahh thank you!! I'm all distracted from my day now haha. How many DPO were you when you did that? This is 10 now, I think?? I had pains around 6th but assumed it was something else until this afternoon as not like my usual pains but now the timing checks out for OV.

That’s a positive go and get a first response or clear blue and it will b more obvious. And update us!

I was 9 or 10 DPO 😊 I've attached a couple of my tests from that day so you can compare! I was so distracted as well!!

Just to add you might just need a day or two to see if the line gets darker as I remember one thread where there was just a shadow at 10dpo but clear line 11dpo. 🤞🏼

@akk ahh so lovely!! It's how mine started off previously too before complications so fingers crossed it's the same and this time I have luck on my side. ☺️ Yes, I should be working but now I'm 50% nervous, 20% cautiously excited and 30% nauseous. 😂
